About EB

Welcome! I'm EB and I’ve been seriously running for over a decade now. Running is my passion, my stress relief, my time to think, and time to challenge myself in new ways.  I’ve always been active, playing field hockey and ice hockey throughout high school and college, but after graduating and becoming an adult (in theory), I started to focus on running.  My first race was a 5k and I thought it would never end. Since then I have run 10 marathons, 29 half marathons, two 50ks, and a variety of distances in between.  I love the constant challenge, always having new routes to explore, and seeing the results of hard work during races.
Hi!  I'm EB!
I currently live in Atlanta. I'm an avid sweater, a self-professed poor fueler during endurance events, and a lover of donuts.  I love to talk about running, share my experiences, and hear other's stories. If you are looking for some help getting started running, I'm also a RRCA Certified Running Coach. Join me as I continue to explore the world of running, and attempt to find a fueling method that works for me so I avoid Running on E.

Thanks for visiting!

I am currently following you now and am awaiting your follow-back...

All the very best for the rest of 2013 & beyond EB. Look forward to hearing from you…

  2. Have you tried Energybits? They're an awesome fuel for runs, or just for everyday. They're Algae, have a ton of vitamins and minerals and they're safe as they're food. I love them. They help me with not feeling starved after a long run. The website is energybits.com if you want to check them out. I have a code, "SPEED" for 20% off. They seem pricey, but one bag lasts a month, and that's if you take a serving (30 bits), per day. I've had the same bag for almost two months.
Thanks for stopping over at my blog earlier. :)
